Kodak Black was born on June 11, 1997, in Pompano Beach, Florida. His real name is Dieuson Octave. He was raised by his mother in Golden Acres, a public housing project in Pompano Beach. His parents were a migrant from Haiti. He started robbing in his early stage of life as a way to provide his family due as a teenager with a father. Later on, he became interested in music and embarked in the music industry. He is a hot American hip-hop recording artist. Octave is now become the best hip hop high school rapper in the country. He was inspired by a rapper named Lil Boosie, he was not only inspired by his style, but also by his success. He could do the same as Lil Boosie. This 16-year-old rapper usually declared himself as a Chosen One. Kodak used the nickname Black and Lil’ Black from the age of 6. But when he signed up for Instagram he used the username, Kodak Black. Later on, when he started rapping this name becomes his stage name liked by his fans.

Before fame, at the age of 12, he became the member of a rap group called Brutal Youngnz, but he left that group and then he was affiliated with the group named The Kolyons. Again he left this group to embark on the solo career. Afterward, Octave has released and dropped his continuous mix tapes: first named Project Baby in December 2013, second named Heart of the Projects in December 2014, and third one named Institution in December 2015. The response from the street and fans was so overwhelming.

Kodak Black has some legal issues. He was placed in a Youth Detention Centre and placed on probation period for three times in one year.  Again then he was arrested in Pompano Beach in October 2015, charged with stealing battery, false custody of a child and many other cases, he was later released. In April 2016, he was arrested two times, first in Hallandale Beach, Florida and Broward County, Florida. Kodak appeared in a court in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and begs no contest to all charges in August 2016, and then he was released on house arrest for one year, probation for five years and did society services and also took anger management classes. He then also got allowed for tours internationally.

Black is now deciding and giving all his energy and time for his music career. His talent was recognized by Dollaz N Dealz ENT and he invests in Kodak music career and signed him to the DND labels. Kodak is such a quality star who has a power, magic, and ability to light up the stage with his presence. His outstanding tracks are No Flockin and Hungry.
