Dimitri Roger famous by his stage name Rich the Kid, was born on July 13, 1992. He is an American songwriter and rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He was born in Queens, NY and is of Haitian decent. This was before the Rich the Kid bookings had began. When he was 16 years old, his parents divorced.  Roger moved with his mother into Atlanta leaving his father in NY. He attended Cherokee high school in Canton in Georgia.  He grew up listening to Nas, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. But after moved to Atlanta he started listening to Young Jeezy and T.I.

He released his first solo mixtape Been about the Benjamins in 2013. In Aug 2014, Roger released his second solo mixtape named Feels Good to be Rich feature rapper, Young Thug, Kirko Bangz, Riff Raff, Yo Gotti and Rockie Fresh. After he released the single called On My Way feat GS9 singers Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel. Later on, he released five additional mix tapes after release of Been about the Benjamins and Rich than Famous in which three are released with Migos. The popularity of the tape caused the Rich The Kid booking price to go up.  Roger worked with many artists including, Peewee Longway, Frank Ocean, OG Maco, Wiz Khalifa, Bobby Shmurda, Soulja Boy, Young Thug, Rockie Fresh, DJ Carnage, Fetty Wap, YoGotti, Riff Raff, Zaytoven and KirkoBangz. His songs clearly show how versatile and creative he is. His rapping style is s chic and rock.

Afterward, he started releasing his new songs and mixtapes. In 2015, a first collaborative mixtape named Still On Lock with Migos. Later on, he released his first solo record named Flexin’ On Purpose in Aug 2015. This consists of 14 tracks, collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, Fetty Wap, Rich Homie Quan and Young Dolph. October 2015, Streets On Lock 4 was released which contain 27 tracks ft. many artists and also released Whip It ft. 8 songs on Thanksgiving on Nov 26, 2015.

Roger first rap name was Black Boy the Kid but later he changes it to Rich the Kid. He started his own label called Rich Forever Music in March 2016. The record first release was a compilation of 15 tracks named Rich Forever Music: TheMixtape ft. Skippa Da Flippa, Lil Yachty, Famous Dex and Quavo and first artist who’s signed up with this label were a Chicago-based Famous Dex with J Stash. His label second project Rich Forever 2 was released on July 02, 2016 in collaboration from Wiz Khalifa, Young Thug, Lil Yachty and Jaden Smith. Roger contracted a deal with 300 Entertainment for 300 to become a parent company for Rich Forever Music in June 2016.
