Wale is one of the hottest rappers in the game right now, he has been recording hit after hit. He started out as what people consider to be a backpack rapper but has since killed that status, and is just churning out hits. He also was aligned with Jay-Zs label Roc Nation Management that had Melanie Fiona, J. Cole, and Rihanna. He began building anticipation for the album, and everybody wanted to reserve Wale for his events. He released his mixtape, The Eleven One Theory in 2011 and it shut down the file-sharing site Hulkshare because of the amount of traffic brought to the site. He had a huge hit with Lotus Flower Bomb and this song was huge on the radio. Wale had become one of the hottest rappers in the game at this point and everybody was playing his music.

After the successful release of Ambition, he began prepping for his next album, The Gifted. The album has already spawned a huge single with Bad and will surely have people wondering what the Wale booking price is now.
